Triple murder case: First time a woman to be hanged in Indore

Indore: A local court on Friday awarded capital punishment to three persons including a 25-year-old woman for killing three women of a family after robbing them. Additional Sessions Judge D N Mishra awarded death sentence to Neha Verma (25), Manoj Aayed (32) and Rahul Choudhary (22).

The trio murdered Ashlesha Deshpande ( 21), her mother Megha ( 42) and grand- mother Rohini Phadke ( 70) in a gruesome attack in Srinagar on June 19, 2011.After a few days of incident, all the three accused were arrested and a pistol and two knives, the booty and two ATM cards were recovered from their possession.
